About Us

Thirsk Furniture was established in 1994 in an area of North Yorkshire renowned for its long history of furniture manufacturing. In 2008 the company was bought by Chris Blair, now the Managing Director. Chris is committed to growing the business by offering high quality products at competitive prices and a level of service that is second to none.

We are capable of manufacturing a huge variety of contract furniture, as can be seen in the Our Furniture section of our website. Our focus is on producing high quality table tops, table frames and bespoke furniture that not only looks stunning but which stands the test of time in busy commercial environments. We pride ourselves on providing a personal, flexible service, both in terms of product design and after-sales; all our products come with a 12 month guarantee.

Our Furniture is manufactured using laminates, veneers, solid hardwoods, linoleum, vinyl or bulgomme. We are constantly developing our production methods, investing in new machinery and researching the market for new and innovative materials. We are not limited to a product list; most of our products are tailor-made to our customer’s requirements.

As you’ll see from our portfolio, our products can be found in many prestigious establishments throughout the country.

We now employ 19 people and in May 2011 we established a dedicated polishing unit with two state of the art polishing booths for polishing table tops, bases, frames, chairs and anything else our customers require.
