Thirsk Furniture extends its office furniture offering
Historically we have manufactured for the leisure and education markets only and the office market has been dominated by MFC or laminate products. Whilst we can make MFC or laminate tops, in the last couple of years we have increasingly been asked to manufacture solid hardwood desk tops and frames, often in large sizes to form hot desks.
We can make very large table tops and frames if needed and can rout power and data port holes into the tops, together with drop-in inserts if required. We've even made desk tops from Character Oak or reclaimed scaffold boards.
This creates a more distinctive and characterful look than the traditional MFC office furniture and can either be placed in a contrasting contemporary office space or fits well into renovated warehouses for example.
